1. What is it?¶
Subscription & Billing manages the business's Finora subscription plan, billing cycle, and upgrade options. It shows the current plan, renewal date, payment method, and provides options to upgrade to Accountant Pro, switch to annual billing, or cancel the subscription.

4. Nigerian regulatory context¶
All prices are in Nigerian Naira (NGN). Payment processing is handled by Paystack, Nigeria's leading payment gateway.
5. Common customer questions¶
Q: "How do I upgrade to Accountant Pro?"
Click "Upgrade Now" on the Accountant Pro card. You'll be redirected to Paystack to complete payment.
Q: "If I switch to annual billing, do I lose my remaining monthly days?"
No — your remaining days are added to the new annual subscription.
Q: "What happens when I cancel?"
You retain full access until the end of your current billing period. After that, the account downgrades to the free tier.
6. Known edge cases¶
Test business shows 289 days remaining¶
The test business has a Premium plan with a January 2027 renewal date, so switching to annual would carry forward 289 days.
7. Escalation trigger¶
Escalate to Tier 3 (Founder) if: - Payment failed but subscription was deactivated prematurely - Subscription shows incorrect plan or pricing
Escalate to Tier 2 (Support Lead) if: - Customer needs a refund after cancellation - Customer needs to change payment method - Customer needs a custom enterprise plan beyond Accountant Pro
