What PenPay Is

PenPay (penpay.com.ng) is Nigeria's pension remittance platform. It enables employers to submit pension contributions to employees' Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs) electronically.


How It Works with Finora

Finora does not integrate directly with PenPay. Instead, Finora generates a Pension Schedule export in PenPay-compatible format:

  1. Go to PAYE Returns → Schedules tab
  2. Expand the payroll run for the relevant month
  3. Under Pension Schedule, click Export CSV (PenPay)
  4. Upload the exported CSV to PenPay at penpay.com.ng

The exported CSV contains: - Employee names - RSA (Retirement Savings Account) numbers - PFA details - Employee contribution (8% of BHT) - Employer contribution (10% of BHT) - Total contribution (18% of BHT)


The Schedules tab includes a direct link: "Go to PenPay →" (penpay.com.ng)

Common Issues

  • Missing RSA numbers: If employees don't have RSA numbers in their Finora records, the PenPay CSV will be incomplete. Ask the customer to update employee records with RSA numbers.
  • BHT components unclear: Finora calculates pension on gross salary. If the customer's salary structure has specific BHT components, they may need to verify the calculation.
